How long can I stay in the UK? While we would normally expect that you return within a year of departure, there is no formal limit on the time you can spend in the UK, provided you obtain any necessary visas or work permits. The British Council cannot provide specific advice or cover any costs related to obtaining the necessary Visas or permits.
We are not able to confirm return flight bookings beyond a year from your initial departure from Australia. Therefore, you should understand that you may be liable for additional costs to make changes to your return flight booking once the initial booking has been made.
