During July a panel of creative industry specialists will assess applications.
Semi-finals
You will be informed of the outcome of your application by email during August. If you are shortlisted you will be required to attend a preliminary interview between Tuesday 10 August and Thursday 12 August.
In previous years interviews have been conducted in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Perth, though we reserve the right not to hold interviews in one or more of these cities should numbers make it unreasonable for us to travel there. We will reimburse travel costs for semi-finalists who reside outside metropolitan areas or are invited to travel interstate for an interview. Friends and family will have to pay for their own travel costs.
Finals
Ten finalists will be invited to Sydney to attend a final interview at the Sir Stamford Hotel Circular Quay on Tuesday 7 September. Finalists are also invited to attend a creative careers workshop in Sydney and attend the awards night on Wednesday 8 September where the winners will be announced. Further details on the workshop will be announced.
We will reimburse travel costs for finalists who reside outside of Sydney. Finalists are invited to stay for two nights at the Sir Stamford at Circular Quay whilst in Sydney. Friends and family must pay for their own travel costs.
Please note
If you are unable to attend either the regional semi-final or national final due to work, a prior engagement, or unforeseen circumstances, you will not be eligible for the award.
